Where to Buy Tampa Bay Rays Playoff Tickets

After beating the Oakland Athletics in the American League Wild-Card game Wednesday night, the Tampa Bay Rays advanced to the American League Division Series, against the Houston Astros. Primary market tickets for Games 3 and 4, if necessary, at Tropicana Park, went on sale via the Rays website at 4 p.m. on Thursday, October 3.

On the secondary market, TicketIQ has Low Price Guarantees on sold out Tampa Bay Rays playoff tickets and on all sold out MLB playoff games. That means that if you find a secondary market ticket for less on a site like StubHub or SeatGeek, we’ll give you 200% of the difference in ticket credit. TicketIQ customers save an average of 5%-20% compared to StubHub and SeatGeek.

How Much Are Tampa Bay Rays Playoff Tickets

Primary market pricing won’t be available until tickets go on sale Thursday, but on the secondary market, demand has pushed prices to $203 for the cheapest ticket to Game 3 on October 7, and $176 for Game 4, set for October 8, should it be necessary. For Game 3, TicketIQ shows seats available in two sections — Lower Corner 134 tickets far down the first-base line start at $203 and Upper 301 tickets above home plate start at $228. For the if-needed Game 4, tickets start at $182 in Lower Corner 134 and Lower Corner 133, and $261 in Upper 301.

Tropicana Field has three options for premium seating — Home Plate Club seats, Rays Club seats, and Fieldside Box seats. Club seats come with an all-inclusive buffet, bar service, in-seat service, oversized leather seats, flat-screen TVs, and access to the Rays Club, which includes “The Sweet Shop.” Home Plate Club seats are located behind home plate, while Rays Club seats are in Sections 106-126 alongside the first-base line. Fieldside Boxes are located directly behind the dugouts, and fans get padded seats.

The average asking price for a Rays home ALDS game at Tropicana Field is trending at $193 on the secondary market, making it the third priciest in the AL behind $360 for a home New York Yankees ALDS game, and $194 for a home Astros game. The priciest ticket in the National League is $249 for the St. Louis Cardinals.

What Are Dates For Tampa Bay Rays Playoffs at Tropicana Field

The ALDS starts on October 4, with the Rays playing at the Astros, and the Minnesota Twins playing at the New York Yankees. The first game the Rays will host is set for October 7. The if-needed Game 4 would be on October 8. The NLCS begins on October 11, and the first game of the ALCS is set for October 12. Game 1 of the World Series is scheduled for October 22.

TicketIQ is committed to the cheapest tickets possible, and we make much less on sold out tickets compared to other major marketplaces like StubHub and Vivid. That means ticket buyers save from up to 25% on TicketIQ on sports, music and theater. We're able to do this because we also work with teams, venues, and other ticket owners, to help them sell tickets at face price, directly to consumers like you, through Ticketmaster.
