Rapper Tyler, the Creator has announced a tour in support of his fifth studio album, “Igor,” which was released in May. The world tour begins August 30 in Seattle and wraps up in Houston on October 26. Of the 34 dates, three are in the U.K. at London’s O2 Arena, and two are set for Canada. Jaden Smith, GoldLink and Blood Orange will join Tyler, the Creator on tour. Smith will play the tour’s September dates and Blood Orange will play the October dates. GoldLink will participate for the entire tour.
The “Igor Tour” will play mostly mid-sized and small venues with capacities of 10,000 or less, though in Toronto on September 6, it will play in the 19,800-seat ScotiaBank Center and on September 12, it will make a stop at the 20,789-seat Madison Square Garden. London's O2 Arena seats 20,000.
Of note is that Tyler, the Creator was among artists banned from performing in London, due to the violent and homophobic nature of his music. He returned to England for an impromptu concert earlier this year, but it was cancelled due to the rowdiness of the crowd. The ban has apparently been lifted, but the three London dates are sure to cause some drama.
The “Igor” album has 12 tracks and several guest appearances, including Kanye West, Playboi Carti, and Charlie Wilson.
Besides being a performer, Tyler, the Creator released a clothing line, Golf Wang, in 2011. He’s also performed on multiple television shows, including “The Mindy Project,” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and has directed multiple music videos. Tyler, the Creator won a 2011 MTV Video Music Award in 2011 for Best New Artist.

Among the sold out shows on the primary market are October 7 at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater and October 8 The Great Saltair in Utah. Tyler, the Creator Announces Spring Tour in U.S. and Europe
Taking a break from the studio this spring is Tyler, the Creator, who will hit the U.S. and Europe from April to June. The boisterous rapper will follow his appearance at Coachella with 39 dates across eight countries. He’ll hit several major U.S. cities along the way, including New Orleans, Jacksonville, Detroit, Baltimore and New York City.
The tour begins at the House of Blues in New Orleans on April 20 and will travel across the U.S. through May 10. It then skip across the pond for 13 European dates between May 12 and 28. One more U.S. leg is scheduled from June 5 to June 30, when it ultimately wraps at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, Washington.
Tyler hasn’t announced a release date for the highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s Wolf, but it appears that the rapper has been hard at work in the studio in recent months. His spring tour may feature some live versions of songs on his upcoming fourth studio album.

Tyler, The Creator Announces 2014 Tour Dates
Following in the footsteps of his bandmate Earl Sweatshirt, the ringleader of hip-hop collective Odd Future will head out on tour later this year following the release of Tyler, The Creator tickets for a mixture of headlining and festival dates.
The 23-year-old, whose Thursday morning performance at SXSW’s Vans Showcase was cancelled after the horrific car crash that left two dead, will first take to the stage at Dallas’ House Of Blues on March 15 – a handful of tickets for which are available on TicketIQ at a get-in and average price of $115.
The controversial rapper, who was recently denied entry into New Zealand after being deemed a ‘potential threat to public order,’ will then visit the likes of Tampa’s The Ritz Ybor on Mar 18 ($54/$56), Fort Lauderdale’s Revolution Live on Mar 19 ($49/$52), Pomona’s The Fox Theatre on April 5 ($90/$101) and Boston’s House of Blues on June 6 ($75/$75) before wrapping up at Philadelphia’s Theatre of the Living Arts on Jun 11.
