The Texas Bowl is not part of the College Football Playoffs. The New Year's Six Bowl, which includes Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Peach Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and Rose Bowl are the only bowls that are in the rotation to host the college football semi-final or the College Football National Championship game.
